- Account Details: Your name, active email address, and hashed passwords entered during registration.
- Transaction Records: Payment proof details, upload receipts, and billing references for premium novel orders.
- Device Identifiers: Secure tokens generated during API authentication inside the mobile application to bind and unlock device bookshelf keys.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your information is used solely to provide a secure and customized experience. We do not sell or lease your profile to third parties. We use the data to:
- Authenticate accounts across the website and the native mobile app seamlessly.
- Verify and approve premium novel purchases.
- Sync bookshelf status, downloads, and active 6-digit access codes.
- Provide push alerts and transaction updates to maintain transparency.
3. DRM & Device Level Protections
To preserve our authors' intellectual property rights, our mobile application enforces hardware-level secure boundaries. We do not inspect personal files outside our app's designated directories. The app blocks screenshots, screen recording, and unauthorized sharing of manuscripts. Temporary local downloads are encrypted and can be deleted instantly by clearing the app cache.
4. Data Security
We deploy standard security layers, SSL encryption, and hashed password storage configurations. All manual transaction logs are monitored internally by super administrators to prevent data leakage.
5. Data Deletion Rights
You have full rights to request your account and associated transaction history to be permanently purged from the NovelsVault directory. Please contact us at vault@novelsvault.com to register a deletion request.
